This is an extraordinary story of state sponsored murder and revenge. In 1978 Bulgarian journalist Georgi Markov was assassinated on Waterloo Bridge with a microscopic pellet containing the deadly toxin Ricin, fired from a modified umbrella supplied by the KGB.
The talk will recall the tragic events that shocked the world over 47 years ago.
